Why We Give
God owns everything. Every dollar, every possession and every resource we have belongs to Him. Psalm 24 says, “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof…” Because that is true, it means that we are stewards of God’s resources and not owners. So when we give regularly, cheerfully and sacrificially, we image and live out this very truth of God in our lives. Most importantly, when we give of our finances in these ways, we reflect the generosity that God has shown us in sending His son Jesus to rescue us from sin and death. When Using A Credit Card To Give
It is the hope, expectation and assumption of CityView Church that when someone uses a credit card to make a donation that the donor is paying their statement off in full each month and not carrying a balance. We would not encourage or support giving on a credit card that would cause someone to accrue interest or further put an individual in credit card debt.
Other Ways To Give That Are “Fee Free”
Give check or cash in either one of our Sunday morning worship gatherings at 9am or 10:30am. We have a clearly marked tithes/offerings box in the back of the room that you can place your financial gift in (envelopes are provided in the seat backs for those who give cash and desire a tax benefit)
