Join a Serve Team
If you're ready to pitch in and help make our Sunday services happen, please start the process by downloading THIS APPLICATION and turning it in to the offering box this Sunday. Currently, we have several opportunities to serve listed below (last updated 6/5/2008):
SUNDAY WORSHIP GATHERING LOGISTICS
Team: Sound/Video
Needs: 1 for sound and 1 for video (and 1 more for either)
Details: Once every 3 weeks, you'll be scheduled to either run sound or video for our Sunday services. For sound, you'll need to arrive no later than 9:45am for sound check and video will need to arrive by 10:30am to acclimate yourself to the order of service. One of both persons might also be scheduled for setup/tear down, depending on availability and/or need for particular Sundays.
SUNDAY CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS
Team: CV Kids Backup
Needs: 1-3 persons
Details: Love teaching kids? Help us out and join our CityView Kids team. Whether you mainly teach or help, you'll need to be able to lead at least one group of kids during the program. You will need to arrive by 10:15am and be prepared for the lesson (emailed out to you in advance). As we have many pregnant mothers who are currently teaching in our CityView Kids Team, we really need a couple of people to fill the gap as these new moms will take some time off as needed. The current rotation is four weeks; so you would basically serve on a once a month basis.
GREETERS
2-4 people are needed to help us out by greeting and handing out weekend updates to those who arrive at CityView Church. Be a friendly face who welcomes in those who attend our weekly worship gatherings. You would need to be available to serve once every four weeks and be on location by 10:30.
