Ladies Summer Book Club

We are taking a break from Ladies’ Book/Bible Studies this summer. BUT . . . we are trying something new! For June, July and August we are offering a Summer Book Club for all interested gals. To be involved, you’d just read that month’s book and show up at a local coffee shop/dessert place for some discussion plus some fun!

And just a little disclaimer . . . this is a book club, not a recommended reading list. Please bring any theological issues that you have with any book to the discussion table!

Book for June:

Same Kind of Different as Me, by Ron Hall and Denver Moore. To read a little about this true story, go here: http://www.samekindofdifferentasme.com/

We’ll meet Thursday, June 18th to discuss this book. Email to receive the information about time and location.

 Book for July:

Let Me Be a Woman, by Elisabeth Elliot. If you know nothing about this amazing woman, check out her bio here: http://www.elisabethelliot.org/about.html, although if you ever saw the movie End of the Spear you know a little of her story.

We’ll meet Thursday, July 16th to discuss this book. Email to receive the information about time and location.

Book for August:

The Prodigal God, by Tim Keller. Here’s a little about the author and the book: http://theprodigalgod.com/

We’ll meet Thursday, August 13th to discuss this book. Email to receive the information about time and location.
